UAE air defences have been dealing with further missile and drone threats from Iran, with the latest alert issued on Wednesday at 3:31 a.m.

The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the acts of vandalism and sabotage targeting the Consulate General of Kuwait and the accompanying attacks, in Basra in Iraq.

The UAE said it "deeply regrets" the failure of the UN Security Council to adopt a draft resolution to immediately end Iran's attempts to disrupt commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
