Dubai carrier Emirates has announced changes to its flights to Sri Lanka's capital city of Colombo.
It will remain open only to transit passengers, who've not been to the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait in the last 14 days.
The carrier clarified that the "restriction does not apply to customers who have transited in the above GCC countries without leaving the airport's transit area".
The restriction will remain in place until July 13.
Passengers who have been impacted are advised to contact the airline's booking agents to reschedule.
