Ahmed bin Saeed chaired the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy meeting on Sunday, which reviewed progress in carbon emission reduction technologies in alignment with the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 Strategy and the Dubai Carbon Abatement Strategy 2030.
The Council also discussed the regulatory framework for the performance of district cooling service providers in Dubai to enhance network efficiency and support the Emirate's sustainable urban expansion and mandating that all government departments implement Al Sa’fat – Dubai Green Building System in the design and construction of government buildings from 2026 onwards.
