Emirates is planning to ramp up operations and deploy more A380s before the end of the year as travel restrictions ease globally.
That's according to His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, speaking on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow.
He said the airline hopes to increase its A380 capacity from 47 to 60 by the end of the year.
Sheikh Ahmed added that the decision to ramp up overall capacity was also dependent on other governments.
