Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa Port is being expanded to accommodate bigger ships and more cargo. Its main channel will be deepened to 18 metres, while 600,000 square metres of space will be added for cargo handling. The project, involving some 250 workers is set for completion in mid-2018.
