Ras Al Khaimah ruler emphasises importance of tourism

The position of the UAE as a leading destination for tourists from all over the world has been reinforced by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. He also underlined its importance as a key tool of interaction and peaceful co-existence among different cultures of the world. He made the remarks at an event to celebrate World Tourism Day 2015, which this year has the theme "One Billion Tourists, One Billion Opportunities". The ceremony was hosted by the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority with the National Council for Tourism and Antiques.
