Dubai Retail has announced The Yard, set to become Palm Jebel Ali’s first retail and lifestyle destination.
The development, under Dubai Holding Asset Management, is scheduled to open in 2027 and will add to Dubai Retail’s portfolio of 57 malls and lifestyle destinations across the emirate.
Spanning around 70,000 square feet of gross leasable area, The Yard will feature 26 concepts across retail, dining, wellness and healthcare, and is expected to serve around 20,000 residents in surrounding communities.
Confirmed brands include Waitrose, American Hospital, Jumeirah International Nursery, Bateel Café, Piccoli and Friends Avenue.
Designed around its waterfront setting, The Yard will feature open terraces, communal spaces and direct links to a waterfront promenade, creating a social hub for residents and visitors.
McLaren Construction is the main contractor for the development.
