UAE Central Bank sets up whistleblowing portal

WAM

A new whistleblowing portal has been set up by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), allowing employees and external parties to report misconduct.

Any concern related to misconduct or policy violations by the bank's own staff, contractors and representatives can be raised anonymously through the encrypted platform.

The initiative is aimed at addressing illegal and unethical practices by taking appropriate action in a timely manner.

Through the portal, located on the CBUAE website, employees and external stakeholders, such as financial institutions, vendors, and the public, can voice their concerns around misconduct without the fear of reprisal.

It also allows those raising concerns to attach files and documents in support of a particular claim.
