UAE, Iraq to enhance economic ties

WAM

The UAE seeks to strengthen its trade and economic ties with Iraq.

This comes after Salem Issa Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Iraq, made the statement during his visit to the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce.

Al Zaabi noted that several major Emirati companies wish to invest in Iraq.

He also added that Iraq offers a conducive investment environment for Emirati companies, with future plans of organizing a UAE-Iraqi forum for business leaders from both countries to get together in the pipeline.
