Bahrain records 77 new coronavirus cases

Bahrain reported 77 new coronavirus cases among citizens evacuated from Iran by plane.

The new cases were among 165 individuals flown in the first repatriation flight chartered by the health ministry from Iran on Tuesday. A second flight is set for Thursday.

The remaining individuals must undergo a quarantine period in the Gulf state.

It brings the total number of coronavirus cases in Bahrain to 189, 30 of whom have recovered.

Meanwhile, Kuwait reported three new cases, bringing the tally to 72.
