Bullied Australian boy to skip Disneyland

Twitter

The family of 9-year-old bullied Murri boy Quaden Bayles has declined to a crowdfunded trip to Disneyland.

Almost a week after $475,000 was raised to send Bayles and his mother Yarraka to Disneyland after his emotional video went viral, the family has declined the trip.

They've said that they want to donate the amount to a charity, instead.

The gesture came after his mother livestreamed a facebook video that showed the aftermath of a bullying incident at his school in Brisbane.
