The Saudi Aviation Club has announced the postponement of the 2nd version of the International Expo for Aviation and Space.
The “Saudi International Airshow" was scheduled to take place at Riyadh-based Al-Thimama airport early in 2021.
The organisers have said that the show is being postponed for the safety of the participants amid the second wave of the COVID-19 in many countries.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the global recession triggered by the recent lockdown in many European and American countries and the negative impact on the global economy including aviation sector has forced the organisers to delay the airshow.
