Dozens feared dead in Congo boat accident

At least 36 people are feared dead after a boat capsized in the Congo River near Democratic Republic of Congo's capital Kinshasa.

The vessel was heading from northwest Mai-Ndombe province towards the capital when the incident occurred. 

Police said 76 people were rescued, and added that the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
