Mediators Egypt, Qatar and Turkey signed on Monday with US President Donald Trump a document on the Gaza ceasefire deal.

The document was signed during the international summit hosted by Egypt in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh on the deal.

The gathering of more than 20 world leaders was co-chaired by Trump alongside Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The US, along with Egypt, Qatar and Turkey, mediated what has been described as a first phase agreement between Israel and Hamas for a ceasefire and the release of hostages by Hamas and prisoners and detainees by Israel.
