North Korean leader Kim Jong Un once again supervised the test-firing of a new weapon, state media KCNA confirmed on Saturday.
It announced that Kim expressed “great satisfaction" over his military’s "amazing success rates" and vowed to build "invincible military capabilities no one dare provoke".
This is North Korea’s sixth round of tests since late July, as it protests the annual US-South Korea military exercises which it considers rehearsals for invasion.
The state media, however, did not reveal more details about the weapon but highlighted that the tests were successful and strengthened the military’s confidence.
