Qatar's Ministry of Interior has announced that a child has sustained an injury as a result of falling debris from interception operations against Iranian attacks early on Friday.

In a statement, the authority noted that the child is receiving the necessary medical care.

The ministry also affirmed that its forces carried out their response procedures in line with the approved emergency plans following the Iranian attacks.

It further urged the public to obtain information solely from official sources and to refrain from circulating rumours or sharing unverified information, images, or video clips to avoid legal accountability.

Iran said it launched fresh strikes on US facilities in the Middle East on Friday, including the first direct attack in Syria, after a sixth straight night of US strikes on Iranian military facilities.
