Citizens of Saudi Arabia will need two COVID-19 vaccine doses before they can travel outside the kingdom from August 9.
That's according to the state news agency SPA, which has quoted a source in the Ministry of Interior saying that the decision excludes those under the age of 12, provided they present travel insurance.
Those who recovered from COVID-19 less than six months before their travel and those who recovered and received one jab of the vaccine are exempt from this new rule.
In a statement, the ministry said the decision is in light of the new delta variant.
