Pakistan announced on Friday it would issue visas on arrival for diplomats, journalists and international delegates travelling to Islamabad for Saturday's Iran–US talks.
The negotiations come after a two-week ceasefire between Tehran and Washington following weeks of escalating tensions with the chance now for peace dialogue facilitated through Pakistan's diplomatic channels.
In a statement on X, Pakistan Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said those attending the Islamabad Talks 2026 would be eligible for visa-on-arrival facilities.
In a bid to streamline the travel process, airlines have also been told to allow eligible passengers to board without prior visas, ensuring smoother travel arrangements ahead of the meetings.
