Qatar authorities are currently executing a search and rescue mission for the crew and passengers of a helicopter that crashed into "regional waters" on Sunday.
The Qatari Ministry of Defence claimed that the helicopter had a "technical malfunction" during a "routine duty".
The Qatari Ministry of Interior added that the rescue operation was being carried out by the Maritime Search and Rescue Team of the General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security, along with the Qatari International Search and Rescue Group of the Internal Security Force
