The leaders of Saudi Arabia and Russia have discussed ways to stabilise world energy markets.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Russian President Vladimir Putin held official talks in Riyadh on Monday night.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, they also discussed the situation in Syria and Yemen, and the importance of combating extremism.
Putin is set to arrive in the UAE on Tuesday in what will be his first visit to the emirates in a dozen years.
