A second convoy of aid trucks has entered the Egyptian side of the Rafah border crossing on Sunday, heading towards the Gaza Strip.
According to Sky News Arabia correspondent, 17 aid trucks, carrying medical supplies and food, have entered through the crossing.
The first convoy of 20 aid trucks entered Gaza on Saturday.
UN humanitarian chief Martin Griffiths called for a "light" inspection system to allow more aid trucks to enter Gaza.
Earlier, UN officials said at least 100 trucks a day would be required in Gaza to cover urgent needs.
