Authorities are urging parents to monitor their children’s internet activity to avoid its negative impact. That’s after an 11-year-old British boy fell from the eighth floor of a building in Sharjah’s Al Majaz area late last week. Initial investigations show the boy jumped from the window of his room and died on the spot. The victim’s close friend has told Sharjah Police that the boy was planning to end his life. Officials have launched an intensified probe to ensure there is no foul play involved.
