16 Emirati aid organisations join 'Bridges of Goodness' campaign

More Emirati humanitarian organisations have joined the 'Bridges of Goodness' campaign launched by the Emirates Red Crescent to help those affected by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.

Over 16 local charities and foundations are part of the initiative, which is being implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the Ministry of Community Development.

The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, and Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment have joined the volunteering campaign.

Dubai Cares, the UAE Water Aid Foundation (Suqia), International Humanitarian City, Dar Al Ber Society, Dubai Charity Association, Sharjah Charity International, Sharjah Charity House, Emirates Charity, Emirates Airline Foundation, International Charitable Organisation, DP World Foundation, volunteering platform Emarat, and the Sharjah Volunteer Centre are also part of the humanitarian drive.

The campaign will begin by collecting aid on Saturday, February 11 (from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City, and near the Khalid Lake in Sharjah.
