The UAE has confirmed 1,621 new cases of COVID-19 from 339,500 tests in the past 24 hours.
Another 585 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall tally of recoveries to 740,707.
One patient has died, taking the total the total number of fatalities to 2,156.
A total of 749,530 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 6,667 are currently active.
