An Emirati senior citizen, who suffered multiple fractures after a fall in Fujairah's Jabal Mebrah mountain, has been airlifted to safety.
The National Search and Rescue Centre (NSRC) said the medical evacuation of the 64-year-old man was carried out after the control room received an alert about a "severely exhausted trekker".
The man has been moved to Dibba Hospital in Fujairah, where he is receiving medical treatment.
