822 new cases of COVID-19 in UAE

The UAE has confirmed 822 new cases of COVID-19 from 217,065 tests in the past 24 hours.

Another 794 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 983,454.

No further deaths have been recorded, so the total number of fatalities remains at 2,339. 

A total of 1,004,751 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,958 are currently active.
