Authorities in Abu Dhabi have banned delivery riders from accessing roads with speed limits of 120kph or higher, and on a stretch of Sheikh Zayed Street as part of a safety drive.
In a post on social media platform X, the Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility) said delivery riders will not be able to access the stretch from Sheikh Zayed Bridge to Sheikh Zayed Tunnel on Sheikh Zayed Street.
It will come into effect from May 15.
The move also aims to improve traffic flow on vital routes.
