The Ecocity World Summit launches today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. According to national news agency WAM, it’s the longest-running international conference series on sustainable cities, and is making its debut in the Arab region. With 800 delegates from over 70 countries taking part, the three-day event aims to tackle issues around building ecocities in challenging environments. A key focus will be on how to make cities greener, healthier and better places to live.
