Abu Dhabi landmarks light up in blue to mark Kuwait's National Day

Several landmarks in Abu Dhabi's Yas Island lit up in blue in honour of Kuwait as the country marks its 60th National Day today.

Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Etihad Arena and a number of iconic buildings in the UAE will remain tinted in blue tonight.

It’s part of nationwide celebrations that emphasizes the close ties and strategic partnerships between the UAE and Kuwait.

A number of cultural events and special decorations with congratulatory messages are also planned for the day.
