Abu Dhabi has rolled out a digital platform where patients can access all their medical records.

The 'Malaffi' health portal is a centralised system which has details of doctors’ visits, lab results, medications, allergies and more.

Patients can access the information through a dedicated website and application.

The initiative is part of efforts to create a unique medical record for each patient and connect all health facilities in Abu Dhabi to a unified electronic database

The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) launched Malaffi on the sideline of its participation at GITEX Global at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

It's considered to be one of the fastest Health Information Exchange (HIE) rollouts globally, which connects 100 per cent of hospitals and 99 per cent of all patient episodes in Abu Dhabi.

The Malaffi Health Portal mobile app can be downloaded from the Apple Store and will be available shortly on the Google Play Store.

Additionally, patients can access it online through by logging in with a verified UAE Pass account or email address after verifying key information, including Emirates ID.
