Abu Dhabi Police are highlighting the dangers of not giving way to vehicles on the far left lane.
They have also called on motorists to use the right lane when driving at a low speed.
There's a AED 400 fine for not giving priority to vehicles coming from the back or the left-hand side, the authority said in a social media post.
The police also emphasised that drivers must change lanes only after indicating and ensuring that the path is clear.
