Air defence interceptions behind loud sounds heard in Dubai

Dubai authorities have confirmed that the sounds heard in various areas of the emirate were the result of successful interception operations carried out by air defence systems.

Officials say relevant teams remain fully engaged and are continuing to take all necessary measures to ensure public safety.
