Starting today, access to exhibitions and some public events in the UAE capital will only be open to those that present a green status on the Al Hosn app and a negative PCR test result with 96-hour validity.

That's according to the latest guidelines announced by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee, which added that these rules are applicable to those "related to business, entertainment and sports".

All attendees will need to wear facemasks, the authority added.

Green status is mandatory to access most public places in Abu Dhabi.

All vaccinated residents need to take a PCR test every 30 days to maintain the green status.
