The hatch to the Dragon spacecraft has closed after UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi and his Crew-6 colleagues entered it, SpaceX confirmed, just minutes away from the second launch attempt on Thursday.

Earlier, SpaceX, in a series of updates on social media, confirmed "all systems are looking good and weather conditions are 95 per cent favourable" for Thursday's launch.

The first attempt on Monday was called off just minutes before launch due to a technical fault.

Space X added that their teams are keeping an eye on the weather along Dragon’s ascent corridor.
