Sharjah Police have launched an investigation after a baby girl was found abandoned in a car park. Reports suggest that a man heard the baby’s cries at the parking lot of a popular hypermarket on Sunday noon and alerted the police. The newborn was wrapped in a piece of cloth and placed in a baby basket. She was taken to Al Qasimi Hospital, and found to be in a good condition. Authorities are now searching for the girl’s parents.
