The bodies of six UAE servicemen who were killed while on national duty arrived at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
They were flown into the capital in a UAE Air Force plane.
Several senior Armed Forces officers received the bodies at the airport, after which a special military ceremony took place.
The UAE Armed Forces had earlier mourned the martyrdom of the six Emirati servicemen who were killed in a vehicle collision while performing their national duty during operations in the field.
