The Philippine Overseas Labour Office in Dubai has confirmed that the body of the Filipina housemaid killed by her Sri Lankan coworker in Fujairah is to be repatriated this week. Joanna Gabales Minanga, 33, died in July as a result of severe beating. The Sri Lankan housemaid confessed to the crime and is now facing murder charges. Minanga was killed after an argument about work at their employer’s house.
