Burj Khalifa lights up in solidarity with India

The world’s tallest tower lit up in the colours of the Indian flag on Sunday evening, expressing the UAE's solidarity with India.

"Sending hope, prayers, and support to India and all its people during this challenging time,” the Burj Khalifa's official Twitter account said.

The iconic tower also displayed the hashtag #StayStrongIndia.

India is in the grip of a rampaging second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the number of cases surging by 349,691 in the past 24 hours.
