If you come across a fake banknote, don’t hesitate to approach the nearest police station.
That’s the message from Sharjah Police who have arrested two men for trying to spend forged AED 100 and AED 200 notes at petrol stations and grocery stores in the emirate.
Acting on a tip-off, officers raided the pair’s apartment, where they recovered counterfeit cash worth AED 45,500.
