The UAE has confirmed 2,988 new cases of COVID-19 from 163,100 tests.
Another 3,658 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 199,178.
Meanwhile, five more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 694.
A total of 221,754 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 21,882 are currently active.
