As many as 6,504 UAE expats stranded abroad have already flown back to the country.
That’s according to Dr. Khaled Al-Mazrouei, Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, who told ARN News that these individuals were able to return on the UAE’s national carriers.
He also revealed that the UAE has helped facilitate 317 outbound repatriation flights for foreign nationals so far, and there are more in the pipeline.
Dr. Khaled explained what residents need to do if they want to return to the UAE or fly back to their home countries.
