COVID-19: UAE announces 1,121 new cases from nearly 144,000 tests

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention reports a daily increase of 1,121 diagnosed cases from a further 143,991 tests.

Another 1,295 people have recuperated, contributing to 128,902 overall recoveries.

Meanwhile, five more patients have died, taking the death toll to 495.

A total of 132,629 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE, out of which 3,232 patients are currently receiving treatment.
