Driverless cars to run on 5G technology in UAE

Driverless vehicles in the country are being tested on 5G technology throughout the trial phase.

The autonomous vehicles are expected to identify traffic conditions and potential dangers quickly with the new technology. 

According to WAM, the vehicles will be introduced on the roads of the UAE in 2021. 

The emirates is planning on being the first country in the world to have regulations on such automobiles.
