The inaugural 'Dubai AI Week' will be held from April 21 to 25, bringing together global artificial intelligence experts, thought leaders and decision-makers.

It will feature a series of conferences, exhibitions and initiatives aimed at exploring advancements in AI, sharing insights and addressing real-world challenges.

In line with the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence, the main events will be held at the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071 at the Emirates Towers.

Highlights include the ‘AI Retreat’, ‘Dubai Assembly for Generative AI’, ‘Global Prompt Engineering Championship’, the ‘Machines Can See’ Summit, and the ‘Dubai AI Festival’.

"Dubai has always been at the forefront of identifying AI’s transformative opportunities and fostering strong public-private partnerships to drive investment in this critical field. With a clear and focused strategy, we aim to accelerate AI adoption to achieve our goals," said His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's Crown Prince and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister.

The event follows the success of the first ‘AI Retreat’ hosted in June 2024. The 2025 AI Retreat will bring together over 1,000 global experts and industry leaders to explore AI opportunities and strategies for expanding AI applications.

Additional key events include the ‘Dubai Assembly for Generative AI’, which will gather 1,800 participants to explore emerging technologies, and the ‘Global Prompt Engineering Championship’, featuring 2,000 applicants competing for a total prize pool of AED 1 million.

The ‘Dubai AI Festival’ will welcome 5,000 business leaders and 500 investors, while the ‘Machines Can See’ Summit will showcase the latest in machine vision technologies.

In addition, a special programme for students, in collaboration with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), will educate young minds on AI’s future potential.

Dubai AI Week is poised to become a flagship event for the region, driving innovation and establishing Dubai as a leader in artificial intelligence.
