Authorities in Dubai have been working round-the-clock to clear waterlogged roads following the recent rains.
They’ve been using tankers and portable pumps to drain excess water and sand from several internal streets and sections of major highways.
The cleanup operations are being carried out by teams from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in coordination with the municipality and police.
Al Warqa, Mirdiff, Safa, Nad Al Hamar and Ras Al Khor are among the areas that have been cleared.
The teams provided a number of water pumps and tanks to remove the accumulated water from the streets (Rebat Street, Al Hadiqa Rd, Al Marabea' St, Dubai - Al Ain Rd
