The Inclusive Development Forum 2015 is being hosted today in Dubai, as it looks to become a disability-friendly city by 2020. According to national news agency WAM, the event is being held under the ‘My Community... A City For Everyone’ initiative launched by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council. Local specialists will be joined by international experts, academics and practitioners to exchange knowledge in the various fields related to the rights of persons with disabilities. Topics such as inclusive urban development, employment, education and learning, hospitality social protection will be discussed during the first of the two-day forum.
