WAM

A team from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) visited Poland to check on the progress of Dubai Metro's Route 2020 trains.

They say rail transport company Alstom is complying with the highest standards of quality in manufacturing key components of the project.

Route 2020 is an extension of the Dubai Metro that connects Nakheel Harbour and Tower Station to the Expo 2020 Dubai site.

The 15km line is scheduled to open ahead of the mega event.
