Meanwhile, their Command and Control Centre received over 2.237 million calls on the emergency hotline 999. Around 98.4 per cent of these calls were answered within 10 seconds.

The details were revealed during the General Department of Operation's evaluation meeting for the third quarter.

These meetings are part of Dubai Police's integrated methodology to evaluate the results of its various departments on a quarterly basis.

Officials discussed the implementation of recommendations and decisions from the second-quarter review, and also compared performance indicators between the third quarter of this year and the same period last year.
