A man, who was stranded in the mountains of Hatta, has been rescued by Dubai Police's 'brave unit' following a two-day extensive search operation.
The unit, which included police patrols, paramedics and aviation experts, were immediately deployed after receiving a report last Saturday requesting assistance from a hiker.
The team faced several challenges in reaching the correct location and maneuvering through the rugged terrain and steep mountain elevations.
However, using their specialised expertise, they managed to locate the hiker and provide him with necessary medical care.
The rescue mission was documented through a video shared on social media, with authorities urging the community to immediately reach out to the emergency number 999 or use the SOS feature on the Dubai Police app when encountering similar situations.
