Dubai has fined and shut a cafe in Karama for violating safety guidelines set by the health authorities to limit the spread of COVID-19.
The inspections, carried out by the Dubai Economy, in cooperation with the Dubai Municipality and Dubai Tourism, found that the cafe had specifically ignored the physical distancing guideline.
Seven shops in malls were also fined for not adhering to the safety rules.
Meanwhile, inspectors found that 274 shops were fully compliant with the regulations.
